Paras Griffin/Getty Images for 2016 Essence Festival K eKe Wyatt has shaved her hair off in support of one of her children, who's currently fighting cancer. The "Fall in Love" singer recently shared a picture of her new look on Instagram with the disheartening caption, "Feeling kinda empty today!!! SMH." She also posted a photo of her aunt, who also shaved her hair as an act of solidarity for KeKe and her ailing child. Earlier this week, the artist shared an Instagram video telling fans that she planned to shave her hair off in a live video on the social media platform. "Plz pray for my family...Haven't really said to[sic] much about my personal life. But my child has been fighting cancer and lost all of their hair that they loved," she wrote in the caption. KeKe continued, "It hurts me so bad. So to show Mommy's support I'm going to get @keever_west to shave me bald today. I need a complete healing for my baby." It's currently unknown which one of KeKe's eight kids -- seven biological and one stepchild -- is battling cancer. KeKe, married to husband/manager Michael Ford, is currently pregnant with the couple's fourth child. Copyright © 2017, ABC Radio. All rights reserved. More...

Frederick M. Brown/Getty Images Following the powerful performance of her single "My Man" at the BET Awards this Sunday, Tamar Braxton has released the song's accompanying music video. The cinematic black-and-white visual for the track, inspired by her parents' strained relationship, shows the singer checking into a hotel after she suspects her lover is having an affair with her friend. Even though the hotel's front desk clerk tells the entertainer that he doesn't want any trouble, it's clear that Tamar's man is in for a world of hurt once she finds him and her friend in a hotel room together. “My Man" is the first single from Braxton's upcoming fifth solo album, due out this summer. The as-yet-untitled CD will be the first release on her own label, Tamartian Land Records. Copyright © 2017, ABC Radio. All rights reserved. More...

RoleXX B ryson Tiller fans can now buy the singer's chart-topping album, True to Self, everywhere ahead of the start of his Set It Off Tour, which surprisingly gives him a chance to overcome his self-proclaimed shyness. Bryson tells ABC Radio that he's "trying to come out of my shell more" while on the road. "That's the main issue of me as an artist," he says. The "Somethin Tells Me" artist continues, "I never really wanted to be an artist, so, I'm just trying to figure out how to be an artist. And I don't mean just like an artist making music, 'cause I do that all day. But actually doing things that artists do, like going on tour and meet and greets and just being personable." If you're planning to see Bryson on tour this summer, you should know he gives his best onstage performances when fans come to his shows with heaps of energy. He says, "If it's their favorite song, I'm excited about performing it. If somebody goes crazy in the front row about, I don't know, "High Stakes" or something, I'm just like, 'Wow. He really loves this song.'" Bryson goes on: "So I'll just feed off his energy, and that'll make me enjoy a performance just because however he feels about the song is how I felt when I first made the song." Bryson's Set It Off Tour kicks off August 3 in Atlanta, Georgia. An additional date in has been added at the historical Greek Theatre in Los Angeles for August 14. Tickets go on sale Friday, June 30 at 10 a.m. local time. For more information, visit TrapSoul.com. Copyright © 2017, ABC Radio. All rights reserved. More...

We The Best/Epic Records/Roc Nation Rihanna has scored yet another chart achievement: she's the first female artist in three months to appear in the top five of the Billboard Hot 100. Rihanna did this thanks to her collabo with DJ Khaled and Bryson Tiller, "Wild Thoughts," which just debuted at #4 on the Hot 100. The last top-five song to feature a woman was "I Don't Wanna Live Forever," Taylor Swift 's duet with ZAYN, which was #3 back on April 8. The Billboard album chart had also been female-free until just the last three weeks, when Halsey, Katy Perry and Lorde 's latest albums all debuted at #1. By the way, Rihanna is the only female artist so far to score two top 5 hits in 2017: In March, she was #5 with "Love on the Brain." What's more, "Wild Thoughts" is her 31st top 10 hit. The only two artists who've scored more are Madonna, with 38, and The Beatles, with 34. Copyright © 2017, ABC Radio. All rights reserved. More...

Gilbert Carrasquillo/Getty Images If you ever find yourself visiting Philadelphia this summer, you may want to take a picture in front of Boyz II Men Boulevard on Broad Street, recently named after the R&B group. Three members of Boyz II Men -- Nate, Shawn, Wanya -- returned to their hometown over the weekend, where they were recognized with the honor of having their very own section of the city named after them, report Philadelphia ABC TV affiliate WPVI. The quartet, including Michael, honed their vocal chops at the Philadelphia High School for the Creative and Performing Arts, now located near Boyz II Men Boulevard. The group found international fame during the 1990s, particularly after the 1991 release of their debut album, Cooleyhighharmony, and their single "End of the Road" in 1992. Boyz II Men also received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2012. Copyright © 2017, ABC Radio. All rights reserved. More...

Lester Cohen/Getty Images for NARAS B eyoncé and hubby JAY-Z have yet to publicly confirm they're the parents of newborn twins, but according to E! News, the babies just left the hospital for home. One source tells the entertainment news outlet that Bey and her babies are "doing great," while another says that the singer herself "looked amazing and was glowing." Beyoncé's dad, Mathew Knowles, apparently confirmed the rumored recent births by posting a note on Instagram congratulating the happy couple. The gender of the babies is still unknown as well, though unconfirmed reports have claimed that Bey welcomed a boy and a girl the weekend of June 16. In other news, Beyonce won five awards Sunday night at the BET Awards, including Album of the Year for Lemonade. Her protégés, Chloe x Halle, accepted the Coca-Cola Viewers Choice Award on her behalf with a speech written by the absent superstar. Copyright © 2017, ABC Radio. All rights reserved. More...
