Randee St. Nicholas Following the recent allegations that R. Kelly has been holding women against their will in a sex cult, a new woman is accusing the R&B singer of having underage sex with her, and physical abuse. In an interview with Buzzfeed 's Jim DeRogatis, the reporter who's covered the R. Kelly sex abuse allegations for many years, Jerhonda Pace claims she had sex with R. Kelly when she as sixteen and that when she eventually tried break things off with the singer, he became violent. Pace, who says she's broken a non-disclosure agreement with Kelly to speak publicly about her alleged experience, says she met the singer when she was 15, during the time she attended his 2008 child pornography trial and defended him to the press. It was after the trial ended that she developed a sexual relationship with him when she was 16. “At the time, I didn’t know what I liked, honestly,” Pace tells Buzzfeed, explaining why she complied with R. Kelly's rules, which she says included asking permission to shower, eat, go to the bathroom, and leave the property. “I just knew that I liked his music, so I was pretty much accepting of anything that came with him at the time.” Pace admits she initially lied to Kelly about her age, but later told him the truth and even gave him her ID. She claims nothing changed, and Kelly told her to continue to tell others she was 19. Pace, now 24, says she had to break things off after Kelly caught her texting a friend, claiming he became upset and "slapped," "choked," and "spit” on her. After the incident, Pace says she found a Chicago attorney who took her case and advised her to pursue a cash settlement, rather then criminal charges. After allegedly passing a polygraph test, Pace was awarded a cash settlement in exchange for signing a non-disclosure agreement. Pace claims the agreed-to payments afterward were not consistent. Pace says she's now speaking publicly about Kelly to support the other accusers. "I didn’t have anybody to speak up on my behalf when I was going through what I was going through with him," she explained. "He’s brainwashed them really bad, and it kind of reminds me of Charles Manson … I just really hope I can help these women out. Kelly needs to be stopped." Pace says she's considering filing criminal charges. Copyright © 2017, ABC Radio. All rights reserved. More...

James White Even megastars like Mariah Carey get starstruck. The global icon tells Paper magazine for its special Las Vegas issue that the last celebrity she remembers being that captivated by was her late friend Prince. "There's always people who I admire and when I see them [I get starstruck]," she begins. "The last time I saw Prince, he came to my dressing room. I had said I wanted to go visit him to say hello because we'd met before." Mimi continues, "When he was living, we had had lots of conversations, and he helped me through certain moments that were not easy. I don't want to get too depressing, but I was having a conversation with Prince and then I looked around the room and I noticed that everyone in the room was looking up and staring like they couldn't believe he was standing there." Mariah also says she "would always be a little bit starstruck" every time she saw another late icon, Michael Jackson. The singer, who has a Las Vegas Christmas production planned, also reveals to Paper what it's like to be her in three simple words: "So many things." But when asked where she would tell friends to go if they're coming to Sin City for the first time, Mariah had an unusual answer. "Well, if they have kids they should take them to the dentist that [my kids] go to, because it's a kids' dentist and they have all these games there," she says. "I'm sitting here waiting to go to the dentist, like, 'Let me get to Vegas so I can get to the dentist!'" Copyright © 2017, ABC Radio. All rights reserved. More...
